This booklet is aimed at assisting staff to understand the nature of spiritual needs and how to meet them. It arises out of extensive work in the care of older people, including people with dementia. By using the manual the whole area of spiritual needs will become less of a mystery and caregivers will find the tools to explore and meet the spiritual needs of each individual in their care.
